Analytics Dashboard
The Bot It analytics dashboard gives you visibility into how AI agents interact with your store.
Overview Dashboard
Section titled “Overview Dashboard”The main dashboard shows:
- MCP proxy requests (all-time and today)
- Bot traffic sessions (all-time and today)
- Brand voice status (configured or not)
- Search gaps count (queries with zero results)
- Current plan
- Setup checklist with 6 items to complete
Agent Traffic
Section titled “Agent Traffic”See which AI agents visit your store, broken down by:
| Metric | Description |
|---|---|
| Agent name | GPTBot, ClaudeBot, PerplexityBot, etc. |
| Agent type | LLM or crawler |
| Visit count | Total sessions in the selected period |
| First seen | When the agent first visited |
| Last seen | Most recent visit |
Filter by date range (1-90 days).
MCP Tool Usage
Section titled “MCP Tool Usage”Track how the MCP Enrichment Proxy is performing:
- Which MCP tools are being called
- Call count per tool
- Average response time in milliseconds
- How many requests received enrichment
Search Gaps
Section titled “Search Gaps”One of Bot It’s most actionable features. Search gaps show you:
- Query text — What the AI agent searched for
- Result count — How many products matched (zero for gaps)
- Occurrence count — How many times this query appeared
- First and last seen — When the query started appearing
Use this data to:
- Add products that match common queries
- Improve product narratives to match search intent
- Identify new collection opportunities
Plan Availability
Section titled “Plan Availability”The full analytics dashboard is a Pro feature. The overview dashboard with basic stats is available on all plans.
Orders by Sales Channel
Section titled “Orders by Sales Channel”The Analytics page groups your recent orders by the sales channel that produced them, with AI shopping surfaces highlighted. This is the closest available signal for AI-attributed revenue — Shopify’s admin-only agentic channel metrics aren’t exposed to apps, but order attribution is.
If the card asks you to re-approve permissions, reload the app and accept the updated permission prompt — order reporting requires read access to orders, which existing installs grant on their next approval.
Daily Quick Wins
Section titled “Daily Quick Wins”The Dashboard shows three AI-picked quick wins each day, generated from your store’s real state: audit gaps, failing gates, waiting fixes, and narrative coverage. Each win links to the page where you can act on it. Wins regenerate daily as your store changes.
